A Creedal Bumper Sticker?

On my way to work this morning, I sat behind a mini-van and read a “Christian” bumper sticker that I’d never seen before. It said:

Jesus: Fully God and Fully Man

What are you FULL of?

I’m not sure how to take it? It definitely has a creedal overtone, which is unique. But is it evangelistic? Is it sarcastic? I’m not sure whether to like it or despise it? Any thoughts?

  1. Yea, it’s as if it’s asking you if you want to be “fully God” or “fully human.”

  2. My first thought is that is asking you what you are full of….satan or God.

  3. I can’t help but read it in the crude, slang way that the phrase is used in everyday speech. So either you’re full of Jesus or you’re full of “….”
